The Secret of Happiness: a mashup of TED Talks.

One of many short videos promoting Google Chrome. This and Chromance are my favorites so far.

Props to the Creative Labs team for making all this happen.

kissmeimlazy shares this piece that seems to be bordering on the line of distaste, but lord knows I have a propensity for crossing that bridge all the time, so enjoy.
Jude Buffum’s “Saved By The Bell” from Idiot Box Artwork, a collection of more or less awesome prints inspired by various television shows. Not sure what it was that made me choose this particular piece of crazy to display, but I think it’s the way that Slater’s tanktop, mullet, and elastic jeans are still clearly visible in this 8-bit styled design.

Straight up one of the coolest videos I’ve seen.

From my personal collection of random ass videos I downloaded back when I was in college and Internet2 was all the rage.

Bromka (aka Peter) is a Design Strategist at IDEO. Often he has problems (as do I) explaining what he does. This video, created by his former firm, helps to explain this. Prepare for cool.

Glyphish is offering free icons and resources for iPhone developers. Pretty solid work if you ask me.

My speech from last week’s Creative Morning has been posted for your viewing pleasure thanks to the rad, rockin’, rambunctious Rolo. We are working to get the Q/A session up as well, since I believe that was the most interesting part (for me, at least). Stay tuned.

Also, keep up with creativemornings.com for details on the next talk being given by my friend (at least on Twitter) Michael Surtees of DesignNotes.

Update: The video has been updated to include the Q/A session.

A life goal, summarized in a minute and thirty seconds.

Peter sent me the above picture earlier today, cheering me on from the west coast for the Creative Morning talk I gave.
In case it wasn’t already obvious, he is Awesome.
To everyone who attended, I’m sorry if I didn’t get a chance to meet you, but I hope you had fun. Email me and we’ll go get a beer sometime.
Special kudos to the incredible people that I work with at Google who helped make this happen so seamlessly.
Lastly, thanks so much to Tina for inviting me to speak. It really was an honor.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go pass out on the first plush surface large enough to support my body weight.

It is often said that humans are reluctant to change, yet in less than 20,000 years we have left our mark on every inch of the planet and beyond.
