I hit up ##textmate tonight to see what the status was on the latest version of my favorite text editor on the Mac. Transcript of the beginning of my conversation below:

Apparently august got confused and posted the reply thinking he was in another channel, but his shorthand ‘wrong chan for 1.0’ was then misconstrued by me to be an indication that I was in the wrong room. Oh dearest internet, communication using you is so easy.
What almost got me to leave the channel right then was the last line. Is it that people are trying to be dicks, or it just comes off that way over IRC? I feel bad for anyone without thick skin who ever asks a “dumb” question in the eyes of these regulars. Jebus.
